It makes sense for the 737 Max. Without a good pair of noise-cancelling headphones you get deafened by the screaming passengers as the plane dives into the ground.
Doesn't matter. The flight attendant will tell you to take them off during the safety video. So you can't hear the audio. But you can hear the kid behind you screaming.
I'm ASS-U-MEing that the i flight video is ADA compliant and will have captions for the hard-of-hearing. And they still stock the seats with those pamphlets that have the same info as the saftey video?
