How does the "adjustable decoration" differ from the blinking/colored LEDs companies have been using this way for years? LEDs aren't considered decoration?
Used and then quit using. Some of my early Android phones had easily customizable LED signals; I could tell if I had email, a text, or a notification from some other app waiting just by color, even if the phone was in silent mode. Never really worked right on my Nexus 6P, and that was my last Android phone. Nothing at all like that on iOS. Oh well, at least the battery lasts more than five minutes and I get software updates for more than two years.

And I'm one of the persons that want to keep notifications at a minimum since they are disruptive.
