Between bootloader locks and batteries glued into devices, I've given up with the mainstream manufacturers and now buy from homegrown Chinese companies that seem to be more interested in building rugged, user-friendly devices.
My current phone is a Unihertz Atom XL with a built-in UHF radio. My electronics don't help me get laid, so I don't care that it doesn't have a curved screen or glass back or fancy designer logo. I do, however, care that it's a beast of a device with a 3-5 day battery life, IP68 rigi
Sure can! It's still a work-in-progress but coming along nicely. UHF radio support is working and quite a few people are using it as their daily driver.
Hopefully more to follow (Score:4, Interesting)

Can you run LineageOS on that Unihertz?
I'll never buy a phone that doesn't allow root access and LineageOS.
