David Gerard writes "In another stunningly good idea, the Home Office plans to require you to present your passport when buying a mobile phone in the UK, to "prevent terrorism." 'Cos it's not like you could buy in vast quantities of last year's model from anywhere in Europe that uses GSM or anything."
