+ - How can I argue my way out of a cell data plan? 2

Are there avenues which I can take to get out of this (legal options, employee suggestions)? I feel as if I've walked into a grocery store to buy bread, then the cashier says "well you need meat with your bread. Otherwise you can't make sandwiches so I'll just have to ring up some corned beef for you, too." There must be some way to avoid being forced to so, right?"

How can I argue my way out of a cell data plan?

  • Why not get a post paid voice plan. You get a number and then just top it up as needed.
  • If you pay full price for the phone the requirement would probably be removed. Part of the price of the phone is paid back by the price of the data plan so no, you probably can not get a discounted phone and no data plan. Really what is happening is that you are paying for the phone through the data plan. No business could give away phones without recouping the costs somehow.
