+ - Asus: Netbook is dead, hello PCs round the wrist -> 1

Submitted by pinkgadget27
pinkgadget27 (1726434) writes "Will the next laptop you own by worn around your wrist? Will netbooks soon belong in a museum? Will the PC as we know it die out never to be seen again? Asus chairman Jonney Shih reckons so... but says content has to catch up first as the world's not quite ready for a complete shift to the 'cloud'. In this interview the chairman of the company that brought us the Eee PC — and effectively kickstarted the netbook craze — talks about the Chrome OS, what the company has up its sleeve (and around its wrist) and why it's not jumping on the tablet bandwagon just yet."
